Mubasher: Germany reported a rise in its trade balance surplus during August, on the back of a surge in exports.
The data of the German Federal Employment Agency showed on Tuesday that trade surplus recorded EUR 21.6 billion in August, exceeding expectations of EUR 19.8 billion.
German exports grew by 3.1% in August, up from an increase of 0.2% in July.
Meanwhile, imports went up by 1.2%, after rising by 2.4% in the month before.
