Cairo - Mubasher: The German government is investing around EUR 649 million in the water sector in Egypt, with finances provided by the Germen Development Bank (KFW Group).
The projects financed by Germany is expected to benefit around 23 million Egyptians, according to the German Embassy in Cairo.
Around EUR 461 million are directed towards irrigation projects, EUR 173 million for sewage systems, and EUR 15 million for waste management.
