Mubasher: Germany’s producer prices rose by 0.4% in May from April due to a month-on-month increase in energy prices, according to Destatis.
Economists previously expected producer prices to grow 0.3% on a monthly basis.
However, producer prices were down 2.7% in May 2016, compared to figures from the prior-year period.
