Mubasher: Germany's consumer price index (CPI) declined below forecasts in January, according to official data released by the Federal Statistical Office of Germany on Friday.
CPI fell 2.4% year-on-year compared with the previous reading of -2%. It also dropped by 0.7% month-on-month compared with the previous reading of 0.3%.
