Cairo – Mubasher: Germany’s KSB Aktiengesellschaft (KSB) has been awarded a tender worth EGP 330 million to supply 650-megawatt pumps for a power plant in West Cairo, according to Almal News.
Cairo Electricity Production company is anticipated to sign the contract with Germany’s KSB by the end of September after going through the offers and obtaining approval from funding entities, an official unnamed source at the Egyptian firm told the newspaper.
The official source added that the competition included offers from Japan’s Toyota Motor Corporation, Switzerland’s Sulzer, the US’ Flowserve Corporation, and Germany’s KSB.
