Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's minister of investment and international cooperation Sahar Nasr said Thursday that an agreement has been reached with Germany to finance future projects in Egypt worth 203.5 million euros ($214.47 million).
Nasr discussed with the personal representative of chancellor Angela Merkel for Africa, Günter Nooke, projects in the education, renewable energy, and irrigation sectors, according to a statement.
The trade exchange volume between Egypt and Germany amounted to EGP 5.56 million euros ($5.89 million) in 2016, rising 10% year-on-year, minister of trade and industry Tarek Kabil had said on Wednesday.
