Gold prices in Egypt fall EGP 8/gram

Cairo – Mubasher: Gold prices in Egypt declined by about EGP 8 per gram on Wednesday as global prices of the precious metal dropped to $1,891 per ounce, Ehab Wassef, a member of the gold division at the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC), told Mubasher.

The price of 24-karat gold registered EGP 943 per gram, while the per-gram price of 21- and 18-karat gold stood at EGP 825 and EGP 707, respectively, Wassef said.

In addition, the gold pound is priced at EGP 6,600.
