Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi-based Goldilocks Investment Company announced the acquisition of an 18.3% stake in Dubai-listed shipping firm Gulf Navigation Holding.
This takeover includes 4.68% held through a share finance facility, the unit of the Abu Dhabi Financial Group said in a statement.
Goldilocks will collaborate with the management and the board of Gulf Navigation in order to drive an enhanced business performance.
Moreover, Goldilocks said it will support the nomination of new members to the board, giving no further details on the deal's value.
Launched in 2015, Goldilocks will continue to be highly active in identifying and securing compelling investment opportunities in the public markets as well as seeking out undervalued companies.
Managed by ADCM Altus Investment Management Limited, Goldilocks is an investment fund with a mandate to invest in listed equities by taking a constructive activist role to unlock value.
