Gov’t allocates EGP 400m to flood protection projects in Red Sea

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s minister of water resources and irrigation Mohamed Abdelaaty has inaugurated a number of flood protection projects in Red Sea governorate.

At an estimated cost of EGP 34 million, four rain harvesting dams were built with a total capacity of about 2 million cubic metres, according to a statement.

The ministry has allocated EGP 400 million to flood protection projects in Red Sea governorate, Abdelaaty said.
