Bahrain’s public expenses and budget deficit will be lowered through the procedures mad by the government to modify some of the fees and prices of government services, including gas, electricity, water, and gasoline, as well as revising the level of government expenditure, said governor of Bahrain’s Central Bank Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj.
Al Maraj told Bahrain News Agency that such procedures will reflect positively on the public budget; thus, the kingdom’s credit rating will maintain at current levels.
