Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s government will provide to the parliament budget of 2018/2019 before its deadline on 31 March for discussion and approval, said the Prime Minister Sherif Ismail.
The budget of coming year aims to achieve initial surplus, raise growth ratio, and spending for social security, education, health, and public services, Information and Decision Support Center reported, citing Ismail as saying.
The budget also aims to increase investments, as well as reducing unemployment.
The Egyptian official noted that investments in domestic projects contributed into decreasing unemployment by 11.2%.
The current year’s budget will be the largest in Egypt’s history, Ismail concluded.
