Gulf, Egypt bourses may show steadiness despite jitters -Analyst

Mubasher: Stock markets in the Gulf states and Egypt are expected to embark on attempts to hold steady at their current levels during the coming weeks, although worries are controlling investors’ sentiment due to falling oil prices and weakening global markets, analyst told Mubasher.

The Gulf’s mixed performance is forecast to continue in Tuesday’s trading session, said capital markets analyst Mahmoud Abu Zaid.

Cash dividends are expected to be low, especially for blue chips which are affected by oil and global markets, added the analyst.
