Kuwait-Mubasher: Gulf Cable and Electrical Industries said it received a purchase order worth KWD 3.26 million from the ministry of electricity to supply low pressure cables, according to a statement to the Kuwaiti bourse on Thursday.
The cable producer is likely to generate operating profits of nearly 5% (KWD 163,000) from the order value.
The financial impact, which will be reflected on the financials of the first and second quarters of 2016, may change during the supply period, due to the implementation conditions and price changes, the statement added.
