Kuwait – Mubasher: Gulf Cable and Electrical Industries posted a 26.5% rise in the second quarter this year as compared to the same period a year ago.
Net profits increased to KWD 1.29 million ($4.27 million) in Q2-16 from KWD 1.02 million ($3.38 million) in Q2-15, the company said in a statement issued Thursday.
During the first half of 2016, earnings grew 65.1% to KWD 4.49 million versus KWD 2.72 million in H1-15.
