Gulf Medical Projects sees higher Q2 profits

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Gulf Medical Projects’ profits for the second quarter of 2016 (Q2) grew 20.8% year-on-year to AED 43.52 million ($11.85 million) from AED 36.04 million ($9.81 million), according to a bourse filing.

In the first six months, net profits reached AED 95.22 million, higher 32.5% from AED 71.87 million registered in the year-ago period.

Revenues in Q2-16 rose 21% year-over-year to AED 220.085 million from AED 181.81 million, while H1 revenues increased 22% to AED 440.46 million.

In the first quarter, the company earned AED 51.7 million, up 44.3% compared with AED 35.83 million for the year-ago period.
