Gulf Warehousing posts 15% rise in Q1 profit

Doha – Mubasher: Gulf Warehousing Company’s profit rose in the first quarter of fiscal 2016 by 15.2% to QAR 46.55 million ($12.77 million), versus QAR 40.42 million ($11.09 million) in Q1-15.

Earnings per share reached QAR 0.82 ($0.23) Q1-16, compared to QAR 0.87 ($0.24) in the same period of 2015.

The company earlier reported a net profit of QAR 185 million ($50.81 million) in 2015, 32% up from QAR 140 million ($38.45 million) in 2014.

The stock rose today 2.22% after 664,000 shares were exchanged at QAR 43 million ($11.81).
