Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Iron and Steel (HADISOLB) posted a 2.62% year-on-year drop in domestic sales during the five months ended November 2017.
Domestic sales amounted to EGP 481.35 million in the five-month period, against EGP 494.32 million in the corresponding period of 2016, the company highlighted in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Tuesday.
Moreover, exports narrowed to $3.99 million in the July-November period of 2017, from $6.96 million in the five months ended November 2016.
Total sales and exports stood at about EGP 90.8 million in November 2017, according to the statement.
HADISOLB achieved annual sales of EGP 1.19 billion in fiscal year 2016/2017, up from EGP 1.18 billion in FY16/15.
By 1:04 pm Cairo time, HADISOLB rose 3.72% to EGP 8.93.
