Cairo - Mubasher: Egyptian Iron and Steel (HADISOLB) said the ministry of investment is still running negotiations with Russian companies to upgrade the company.
The firm pointed out that it didn't receive any formal notifications regards the progress of the negotiations or its results.
Last December, Investment Minister Ashraf Salman said Egypt is currently studying two offers from Russian companies to upgrade the steel furnaces of HADISOLB to boost production to 1.2 million tons from 300,000 currently.
