Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Iron and Steel (HADISOLB) said Thursday that it has sold 11 tonnes of scrap for EGP 50 million in an auction.
The company offered scrap for sale due to the recent slowdown in production as a result of lower coke supply, according to a bourse filing.
A local newspaper reported on Wednesday that the company sold scrap worth EGP 65 million.
