Cairo-Mubasher: Egyptian Iron and Steel Co. (HADISOLB) posted 322.4 million in losses for the first half of the fiscal year 2015/16.
The company logged losses of EGP 326.3 million for the same period of the previous fiscal year, according to a bourse filling.
The steel producer top line stood at EGP 597.7 million in H1-FY15/16, down from EGP 742.2 million for the comparable period of the previous year.
The company said it faced deterioration in its production amounts due to shortage in the coal supplies, in addition to the slowdown of its sales values because of the country’s unstable economic and political conditions.
