Kuwait-Mubasher: Heavy Engineering Industries and Shipbuilding (HEISCO) said that the project it secured from Saudi Chevron was given through a conditional letter of award, as opposed to an earlier announcement saying that the Kuwaiti contractor has been given the restoration contract directly.
HEISCO earlier noted that the renovation works have a cost worth KWD 5.7 million ($18.7 million), and will last for seven months.
