Mubasher: Heavy Engineering Industries and Shipbuilding (HEISCO) was awarded a tender worth a total of KWD 1.64 million for the defense ministry.
The tender has a duration period of 365 days, according to a bourse statement issued on Monday.
The operating profit from this tender will be registered in the financial statements of fiscal year 2018.
During the second quarter of 2017, HEISCO achieved a profit of KWD 1.79 million, which is 45.5% higher than KWD 1.23 million in the same period a year ago.
