Mubasher: The shareholders HSBC Oman has approved the distribution of cash dividends for last year at 5 baisas per share, according to the bank’s statement to the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) on Sunday.
The dividends represent 5% of the bank’s capital, which totals OMR 200 million, distributed over 2 billion shares, at a par value of OMR 0.1 per share.
Annual profits grew 31% last year to OMR 16.9 million compared to OMR 12.9 million in 2015.
The bank’s stock ended Sunday’s trading session up 1.6% and closed at OMR 0.13.
