HSBC raises stake in Ezz Steel, buys 1.5m shares

Cairo - Mubasher: HSBC has raised its stake in Ezz Steel from 4.97% to 5.25%, according to a bourse filing.

HSBC brokerage company said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Tuesday, that the bank has purchased 1.5 million shares with an average price of EGP 18.5 per share, and a total value of EGP 27.7 million.

Ezz Steel Company has a capital of EGP 2.7 billion, distributed over 543.2 million shares with a nominal value of EGP 5 per share.
