Dubai – Mubasher: Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan opened the Mohammed Al Falahi Al Yasi Road.
The AED 636 million new road links Marfaa City to Madinet Zayd in Al Dhafra Region.
The project comes along with the UAE’s infrastructure and development plans.
"Since its establishment, the UAE has been keen to develop an integrated infrastructure in line with best international safety standards in a way that contributes to fuelling the country's economic growth and ensuring social welfare and economic well-being for its people," Al Nahyan said.
Carried out by Abu Dhabi General Services (Musanada), the 52.2-kilometre road will cut 50% of the original distance between the two cities.
