Mubasher: The losses of Hilal Cement increased by 466.9% during the third quarter of 2017 compared to the same period last year.
Losses increased to nearly KWD 138,370 ($458,350) in Q3-17 from around KWD 24,410 ($80,860) in Q3-16, the company said in a bourse statement issued on Wednesday.
During the first nine months of 2017, Hilal Cement suffered higher losses of 1,155.3% to about KWD 46,570 compared to about KWD 3,710 in the same period last year.
It is worth noting that Hilal Cement posted a growth of 343.5% in profits to about KWD 91,800 in the first half of this year compared to around KWD 20,700 in the same period in 2016.
