Dubai - Mubasher: Hotel operator Hilton Worldwide announced signing a management agreement with the UAE-based AW Rostamani Group.
Under the deal, Hilton will develop 458 rooms in DoubleTree by Hilton property in Bur Dubai, commonly referred to as the city’s “Old Town”.
The DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai Al Mankhool will join 11 hotels currently operating or in the pipeline for the brand in the GCC emirate.
“Since we introduced DoubleTree by Hilton to the UAE four years ago, the brand has been a real success story and is now one of the fastest growing in the market,” Carlos Khneisser, Hilton’s vice president of development for the Middle East and North Africa, said.
The property is considered AW Rostamani Group’s first step to foray into the hospitality industry.
It features five food and beverage outlets, two outdoor pools, and fitness and business centres on Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street.
It is also close to two metro stations and the Burjuman shopping centre.
“DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai Al Mankhool represents the expansion of the AWR Properties portfolio. It also supports the leadership’s Dubai Plan 2021 vision to establish Dubai as the preferred place to live, work and visit,” Khalid Abdul Wahid Al Rostamani, chairman of AW Rostamani Group, pointed out.
