Cairo – Mubasher: Revenue per available hotel room (RevPAR) in Egypt’s Cairo, Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada, and Alexandria is expected to grow in 2020, according to a report released on Wednesday by Colliers International.
RevPAR in Cairo and Sharm El Sheikh is expected to increase by 2% and 13% year-on-year, respectively, in 2020, the report added.
Colliers International forecast that RevPAR in Hurghada and Alexandria will grow by 10% YoY and 9% YoY, respectively, this year.
In January, EFG Hermes announced that Egypt’s annual tourism was expected to exceed $20 billion after five years.
