Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Central Authority for Potable Water and Wastewater (CAPWW) is implementing 72 water and wastewater projects in Qalyubia at a combined cost of EGP 5.1 billion.
With a total cost of EGP 1.4 billion, 12 water projects will be established at a capacity of 45,000 cubic metres per day to serve 3 million people, CAPWW’s head, Hassan El-Far, said in a statement released by the country’s ministry of housing.
In addition, 60 wastewater projects at a capacity of 342,000 cubic metres per day will be set up at a combined cost of EGP 3.7 billion to serve 1.2 million people.
