Cairo – Mubasher: Transport Information Technology Co. (Trans IT), the technological arm of the Egyptian Ministry of Transport, signed an agreement with Huawei Egypt.
The agreement includes transferring the experience of Huawei to the staff of Trans IT who will help in projects implemented by Huawei inside and outside Egypt, the Minister of Transport, Kamel El-Wazir, said in a statement on Tuesday.
Huawei is looking to implement several projects in the transport sector in collaboration with Trans IT such as the renewal and replacement of the railway microwave communication network, the development of the information network of the Egyptian National Railways (ENR), and the participation in the automation of the public transport sector.
