Human Soft Q2 profits rise 19.9%

Mubasher: Human Soft Holding achieved a growth of 19.9% in profits during the second quarter of 2017, compared to the same period in 2016.

The company’s earnings increased to KWD 6.03 million ($19.87 million) in Q2-17 from KWD 5.03 million ($16.57 million) in Q2-16, according to a bourse statement issued on Monday.

During the first six months of 2017, Human Soft achieved a growth of 17.3% in profits to KWD 13.17 million from KWD 11.23 million in the same period a year ago.

The positive financial results is attributed to higher revenues from the company’s growing business, Human Soft said.

The company posted an increase of 10.8% in operating income to KWD 30.16 million during H1-17, compared to KWD 27.23 million in H1-16, the statement added.

At the stock level, Human Soft closed Monday’s session 0.69% lower at KWD 4.32; the current highest stock price at Boursa Kuwait.
