Cairo – Mubasher: Hurghada has topped Germans’ favourite hotspots, as booking to the Egyptian exotic city hiked by 55% year-on-year in December, according to a recent report by the German tourism and business news portal fvw.com.
German booking volumes to the red sea destinations have made up 21% of total bookings for the ten largest destination airports in December 2017.
The number of German visitors to Hurghada jumped by 72% in November 2017, the report added.
It is worth mention that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) had previously forecast that Egypt’s tourism revenues would rise by 25.7% in fiscal year 2017/2018.
