ICD seeks new investment opportunities in Rwanda

By: Amr Adel

Dubai-Mubasher: Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD) targets to stimulate investments in Rwanda's hospitality and hotel sector, according to ICD’s executive director and CEO Mohammed Al Shaibani.

During his participation in the African Global Business Forum, he added that Dubai’s investments in Africa are mainly pumped through DP World, airline and air services provider dnata and Emirates Group

Dubai is investing in the continent’s infrastructure and ports sectors by depending on its expertise in specific areas such as the transportation and logistics.

The emirate is facing challenges including laws and unattractive investment climate in a number of countries, yet Al Shaibani expressed his satisfaction about the level of ICD’s investments.
