Cairo – Mubasher: International Fund For Agricultural Development (IFAD) has financed 13 rural developmental programmes at a total cost of $850 million in Egypt, Ahram Gate reported on Thursday, citing the North African nation’s minister of planning Hala El-Saeed as saying.
IFAD has contributed $450 million to these programmes, El-Saeed added.
The fund focuses on developing rural areas in nine countries, including Djibouti, Somali, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Yemen, and Iraq.
