Dubai – Mubasher: InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and Diamond Developers launched Hotel Indigo Dubai Sustainable City, which will be powered completely by solar energy.
The hotel will comprise 143 rooms and is planned to be located at Dubai’s first integrated project for sustainable development, according to a company statement.
“This will be a landmark hotel from our portfolio within the region,” said Pascal Gauvin, IHG’s chief operating officer in India, Middle East and Africa.
“We have created a living, breathing, sustainable community that is cost-effective and eco-friendly for over 300 families,” Faris Saeed, Diamond Developer’s CEO, commented.
