Cairo – Mubasher: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) agreed to grant Egypt the last $2 billion tranche of its $12 billion loan to the North African country, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on Wednesday.
The fund has approved the successful completion of Egypt’s economic reform programme, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) revealed.
Earlier in July, the Egyptian government announced new hikes in fuel prices.
