IMF mission likely to visit Egypt in March – Official

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian deputy finance minister for fiscal policies, Ahmed Kojak, said Tuesday that the ministry has not set a date for the visit of the IMF’s mission to review the Egyptian government's economic reform programme.

In TV statements, Kojak expected the visit to take place in March or April, which will lead to postpone the second tranche of the $12 billion loan.

Earlier in November, Egypt has received the first tranche of the IMF loan worth $2.75 billion.
