Mubasher: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) announced on Thursday it nominated Christine Lagarde to a second term as the agency's managing director.
The fund said it aims to complete the selection process as soon as possible.
During her first term, Lagarde supervised solving the debt crisis in Europe and played a key role in formulating a bailout financial package for Ukraine.
