Cairo – Mubasher: The executive board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is to hold a meeting on Friday to decide on disbursing the first payment of the fourth tranche of Egypt's $12 billion loan.
The $2 billion payment will be approved by the IMF’s board following the third review of Egypt’s economic reform programme.
After the addition of the new tranche, the North African country would have been received $8 billion of the IMF loan.
The Egyptian government has signed an agreement with the IMF to receive a $12 billion loan over three years.
