Cairo – Mubasher: The CEO of the Informal Settlements Development Fund (ISDF), Khalid Sedek, on Monday said that Ma’an and Mahrousa projects are being implemented with EGP 1.3 billion to re-establish El-Salam City’s slums in Cairo.
About 3,200 housing units will be built in Ma’an project at EGP 550 million, Sedek added in a statement to the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and the Urban Development, noting that five major firms are responsible for implementing the project.
About 4.800 housing units are being set up as a part of “Mahrousa” project at EGP 800 million, Sedek stressed, pointing out that eight major firms are executing the project.
