ISX benchmark index shrinks 0.32%

Mubasher: Iraq Stock Exchange’s (ISX) main index, ISX 60, declined 0.32% or 2.28 points on Tuesday, reaching the level of 716.36 points.

Trading value fell to IQD 596.12 million, versus IQD 783.15 million yesterday, Trading volume also plummeted 714.45 million shares exchanged in 424 trades.

The bourse was negatively affected by bearish foreign investors who sold shares valued at IQD 150 million while bought IQD 51 million worth of shares.   

Out of 43 companies saw their shares being traded on Tuesday, there were seven decliners and 18 gainers.

Al-Khatem Company for Telecommunications was the weakest performer with a decrease of 9.86% to IQD 3.11, while Mosul Dam Tourism was the highest as it ended 10% up.

ISX closed Monday in green, with a rise of 0.45% or 3.23 points to 718.64 points.
