Mubasher: The main index of Iraq Stock Exchange (ISX) closed Sunday with a fall of 0.67% or 3.51 points to the level of 520.99 points.
Trading volume reached 1.18 billion shares exchanged at IQD 683.2 million.
The index was affected by the drop in banking sector, as Union Bank of Iraq and North Bank for Finance and Investment and North Bank for Finance and Investment shrank 8.16% and 6.67% respectively.
Meanwhile, Asiacell Communications trimmed losses with a growth of 9.94%.
National Bank of Iraq also advanced 9.76%, topping the trading activity with a turnover of IQD 197.8 million and a volume of 449.4 million shares.
