ISX closes in red

Mubasher: The Iraq Stock Exchange (ISX) closed Tuesday with a fall of 1.28% or 8.09 points, reaching the level of 622.9 points.

Turnover declined to IQD 544,880 from IQD 794,580 on Monday. Trading volume reached 772,280 shares exchanged through 364 trades.

The index was negatively affected by the dropping prices of 23 shares, out of 36 companies, while six others closed in green.

Al Kindi of Veterinary Vaccines was the best performing share after adding 10%, followed by Union Bank of Iraq with a growth of 7.69%.

Meanwhile, Modern Animal and Agricultural Production topped losers after falling 7.5%.

The bourse’s main index dipped yesterday 0.76% to the level of 630.99 points.
