Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt has obtained a $1.130 billion tranche from the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), Akhbar El-Yom newspaper reported, citing the country’s minister of petroleum and mineral resources Tarek El-Molla as saying.
The tranche is part of a framework agreement worth $3 billion which aims to finance energy and food sectors, El-Molla added during an event organised by ITFC.
Since 2008, the oil sector has obtained $8 billion from ITFC, he noted.
