Cairo – Mubasher: Ibnsina Pharma reported a 34.6% year-on-year profit increase during the first half of 2019.
Net profits surged to EGP 103.19 million in the six-month period ended 30 June, compared to EGP 76.56 million in the year-ago period, the company said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange EGX) on Tuesday.
Year-on-year, sales rose to EGP 7.72 billion in the January-June period of 2019 from EGP 6.1 billion.
As for the second quarter of 2019, Ibnsina Pharma logged a profit of EGP 60.4 million, compared to EGP 47.97 million in the corresponding period a year earlier.
During the three-month period ended 31 March, the pharmaceuticals firm’s profit grew to EGP 40.99 million from EGP 27.95 million in the year-ago period.
Sales hiked to EGP 3.8 billion in Q1-19, compared to EGP 2.95 billion in Q1-18.
