India's Sanmar plans to raise investments in Egypt to EGP 1.5bn

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's investment and international cooperation minister Sahar Nasr said Monday that India's Sanmar Group expressed its desire to increase its investments in the country to $1.5 million in the upcoming period.

On the sidelines of her meeting with company officials, Nasr noted that Sanmar’s investments in Egypt amount to EGP 1.2 billion, according to a statement.

Sanmar Group Egypt’s chairman said that the group targets to pump investments worth $300 million and plans to establish a new plant to produce 135,000 metric tons of calcium chloride.
