Dubai – Mubasher: OYO on Tuesday revealed that it will launch OYO Homes in Dubai for short stay holidays.
This move makes the UAE become the Indian largest hospitality company’s first international market of the OYO Homes platform.
Customers can check into the new apartments on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, OYO noted.
“We are a licensed platform and are equipped to operate holiday homes in Dubai, hence our move to launch OYO Homes in Dubai,” Manu Midha, regional head, Middle East of OYO Hotels & Homes, told Arabian Business.
OYO Homes eyes taking up 200 properties in the next six months to offer the short stay services under its brand.
It will be responsible for managing and the day-to-day operations of apartments under it.
“We expect this segment to achieve faster growth due to the rising number of business travellers and international tourists to Dubai,” Midha said.
It is worth noting that OYO currently operates in several international markets such as China, the UK, Indonesia, Malaysia, besides UAE.
