Cairo – Mubasher: India’s investments in Egypt exceeded $3 billion, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported, citing the Indian ambassador to Cairo, Rahul Kulshreshtha, as saying.
Bilateral trade between the two countries reached $4 billion a year, Kulshreshtha added, noting that it will be increased in the coming years if the Egyptian economy continues growth trajectory.
In addition, about 126,000 Indians visited Egypt this year, compared to around 60,000 in 2014 as the country has regained political and security stability, he pointed out.
