Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Indonesia offered $1.84 billion investment opportunities to Emirati investors and businessmen on Wednesday.
The country presented a number of projects in various sectors, including tourism and infrastructure, Mohamed Al Muhairi, director general at Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce, told Mubasher.
Al Muhairi added, on the sidelines of Indonesia economic forum 2016 in Abu Dhabi, that the investment opportunities include a touristic industrial project worth $100 million.
The opportunities also include a 4-hotel huge touristic project at an investment value of $1.3 billion, according to the information provided in a brochure distributed in the event.
Among the offered projects, a transport and infrastructure project is planned to be implemented in Bali Island at a value of $424 million.
The UAE’s volume of investments in Indonesia exceeds $1.5 billion (AED 5.51 billion), amid aspirations to increase this value in the coming years, Jamal Saif Al Jarwan, secretary general of UAE International Investors Council.
