Cairo – Mubasher: Indonesia landed the 55th position among the top countries investing in Egypt with total investments of $111.6 million, the Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry, Nevine Gamea, said.
Indonesian investments are focused on 22 projects in various sectors, including industry, construction, services, as well as communications and information technology, Gamea added in a statement on Wednesday.
The minister noted that the Egyptian exporters have a great opportunity to tap the Indonesian market, especially with exports of chemical products, fertilizers, iron and steel, tyres, and agricultural crops.
